Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced VoIP / Network Systems Engineer with a strong background in voice communication protocols, Linux systems, and network diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SIP-based voice services, web protocols, and network troubleshooting. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining voice and communication systems while ensuring high availability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain VoIP infrastructure using SIP, RTP, and related protocols.
- Implement and support secure voice communications using TLS and SRTP.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and voice performance issues using packet analyzers (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.).
- Develop and maintain Linux scripts and automation tools for system health checks and diagnostics.
- Integrate and support REST and SOAP-based web services for telecom and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to manage LAN/WAN configurations, VLANs, and routing.
- Perform root cause analysis of service disruptions and propose preventive measures.
- Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and change management records.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of SIP, RTP, SDP, and TLS protocols
- Strong Linux expertise (bash scripting, grep, awk, tcpdump, vmstat)
- Hands-on experience with REST / SOAP Web Services
- Good knowledge of HTTPS, DNS, SAML
- Familiar with LAN/WAN technologies Ethernet, VLANs, routing
- Skilled in packet analysis and diagnostics tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
