Adjunct Instructor- Electrical Hourly, CE

Description

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Adjunct Instructor to join our continuing education team. This position involves providing engaging and informative instruction to licensed electricians, focusing on industry standards, safety protocols, code updates, and advancements in the electrical field. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the electrical trade and passion for teaching and mentoring professionals.

Job Duties

• Design and deliver course content for continuing education programs that comply with Iowa's licensing and certification requirements.
• Update and maintain curriculum to reflect the latest National Electrical Code (NEC) changes and technological advancements in the field.
• Conduct in-person or online classes tailored to electricians with varying skill levels and professional backgrounds.
• Align all educational materials and instruction with Iowa state regulations and licensing board requirements for continuing education.
• Stay updated on changes in industry practices, tools, and safety standards.
• Attend professional development sessions to maintain subject matter expertise.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Master or Journeyman Electrician in Iowa/Nebraska
• Demonstrated expertise in the NEC and electrical trade best practices
• Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse learners
• Certification as an electrical instructor or trainer is a plus
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and curriculum development.?
