What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Electrical Instructor position at Iowa Western Community College?
This position is responsible for teaching Electrical classes face-to-face. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures.

- Teaching classroom lecture courses
- Curriculum development/restructuring
- Helping in student success.
- 6000 hours of Electrical work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in Electrical and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested Electrical experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record
- The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
