What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Construction Instructor position at Iowa Western Community College?
This position is responsible for teaching construction classes as assigned by the academic dean. Methodologies include: face-to-face, hybrid, video conferencing, live virtual, and online. Duties include but are not limited to: teaching classroom lecture courses, curriculum development/restructuring, and helping in student success.

Works with Minimal Supervision
- 6000 hours of construction work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in construction and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested construction experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record

- The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
