What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Construction Instructor, Griswold, IA position at Iowa Western Community College?
This position is responsible for teaching construction classes face-to-face. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures. Duties include but are not limited to: teaching classroom lecture courses, curriculum development/restructuring, and helping in student success.
- 6000 hours of construction work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in construction and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested construction experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record.
- The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
