What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payment Auditor position at Iowa Specialty Hospital - Belmond?
Job Description:
Full Time Payment Auditor Position Available.
Monday-Friday 8:30a- 5p (Hours are flexible).
Position will be responsible for auditing payments received from Insurance companies.
The objective is to compare contracted rates/fees vs the actual payments received.
Position will need to learn the various methods a CAH and RHC are reimbursed in addition to assisting with various other reporting and auditing functions for the Business Office.
As part of a team where your individual opinion matters, this position will require previous medical billing or reimbursement knowledge in addition to internal training.
Attention to detail is very important as well as the ability to multi-task.
