Position Summary
Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics is seeking a Clinic Nurse Educator to support staff development, onboarding, competencies, and educational initiatives across our 12 clinic locations. This position plays a key role in promoting high-quality patient care through staff education, regulatory readiness, emergency preparedness, and professional development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding.
- Develop and manage annual competencies and skills validation.
- Provide ongoing staff education and training.
- Support quality improvement, patient safety, and documentation initiatives.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness training and mock drills.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
- Serve as an educational resource for clinic staff and leaders.
Schedule
- Full or Part-Time Available
- Day shift, Monday–Friday
- Flexible scheduling
- No routine weekends, holidays, or nights
- No call
Qualifications
- Current Iowa RN license required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Strong communication, organization, and teaching skills
