The receptionist plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the firm. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a welcoming demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments and manage attorney calendars
- Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital)
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and copying
- Ensure reception area is clean and presentable
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred, ideally in a legal or professional office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
