Iowa Central Community College Dental Hygiene seeks a licensed dentist to fill a part-time clinic position. It is required that a dentist is present in the dental hygiene clinic while the students are providing dental hygiene services.
Examples of Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- The Dental Hygiene Clinic Dentist is responsible for supervision of dental hygiene students during clinic sessions.
- Supervision of the activities of the dental hygiene students during clinic sessions at Iowa Central Dental Hygiene Clinic.
- Provide comprehensive examinations to the clients of the Iowa Central Community College Dental Hygiene Clinic
- Provide prescriptions, referrals and consultative services as needed to the clients of the Iowa Central Dental Hygiene Clinic.
- Contribute to the achievement of the Dental Hygiene department goals.
- Provide additional leadership to the program.
- Attend meetings as required by the Program and/or College.

Qualifications
Must have three years of recent dental experience. Current dentist with Iowa license.
