Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor extrusion press machinery to produce aluminum products.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery or production processes.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Assist in training new operators on machinery and processes.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Extrusion Press Operator or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers preferred.
- Experience in quality inspection processes.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
