A fast-scaling Energy SaaS business is expanding its North American sales team and is looking for an experienced Account Executive based in Houston to drive new business across the Central and Southern US energy markets.


Houston is the energy capital of the world. This role puts you at the heart of it — selling cutting-edge SaaS solutions directly to energy trading desks at upstream, midstream and downstream energy firms.


The Role:

  • Own a defined territory across Central and Southern US energy markets
  • Sell directly to energy traders, heads of trading and senior commercial leadership
  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new logo and expansion opportunities
  • Partner with pre-sales engineers to deliver world-class product demonstrations
  • Attend and represent the business at energy industry conferences and events in Houston and beyond


What We Are Looking For:

  • Experienced Account Executive with a strong SaaS or technology sales background
  • Deep knowledge of the energy sector — upstream, midstream, downstream or trading
  • Familiarity with ETRM, CTRM, energy risk management or commodity trading software
  • Consistent overperformance against sales targets
  • Strong existing network across Houston and Texas energy firms a significant advantage
  • Self-starter — comfortable building territory from the ground up
  • Direct, professional and commercially minded
  • Houston based or willing to relocate
