The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining required inventory levels; ensuring specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct; verifying stock and identifying losses; maintaining an organized warehouse layout; loading and unloading orders; expediting, receiving, shipping, and warehousing of all materials and supplies and managing the warehouse in specific markets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Required out-of-state travel to multiple markets in the western region.
- Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
- Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g. qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality.
- Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport.
- Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.)
- Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.)
- Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service.
- Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment.
- Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct.
- Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors.
- Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.

- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous experience working with Inventory analysis
- Solar or relevant experience is preferred
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to move around the warehouse.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
