Event Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Workers to join our team for various events throughout the year. As an Event Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture, decorations, and equipment.
• Greet and direct guests upon arrival to ensure a pleasant experience.
• Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and event guidelines.
• Provide support to event coordinators and staff as needed during events.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness in event areas throughout the duration of the event.
• Assist with ticketing or registration processes as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event coordination or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• A positive attitude with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols during events.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
