Role Description
This full-time, on-site Controls Engineer role is located in Modesto, CA. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. The role involves collaborating with clients to implement process control solutions, upgrading existing systems, performing system diagnostics, and ensuring that all electrical and motion control systems meet operational requirements. The selected candidate will also support installation, testing, and maintenance efforts to optimize manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in Process Control and PLC Programming, focusing on system design and optimization
- Experience in Ignition SCADA, Databases (SQL) and Python a MUST.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and their application in automation systems
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving issues in control systems and electrical equipment
- Experience with Instrumentation and Motor Controls
- Solid understanding of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of legacy system upgrades, facility audits, and industrial communication protocols
- Ability to work on-site effectively and collaborate with internal and external teams
