Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of electrical construction, public works requirements, and prevailing wage compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical construction projects from award to completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Coordinate with general contractors, field crews, and subcontractors
- Review and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contracts
- Track project costs, labor productivity, and profitability
- Maintain strong client relationships and communication
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in electrical project management
- Experience with public works / prevailing wage projects (REQUIRED)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in project management software (ProjectSight, Bluebeam, etc. preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contracts
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Estimating or preconstruction experience
- Experience working with union labor
- Background with commercial or industrial electrical projects
