C Developer (Hybrid) | High-Performance, low Latency Trading Systems
We're looking for an experienced C Developer to join a high-performance trading technology team at a leading tri-state quantitative trading firm.
This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute ideas and deliver new functionality through short development cycles - with the autonomy to shape the tech stack and ensure it remains cutting-edge.
You'll design, build, and optimise low-latency, high-throughput systems that power real-time trading strategies, working alongside passionate traders and technologists who push performance to its limits.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive on optimisation, precision, and solving complex technical challenges in fast-moving, data-driven environments. You don't need to come from a trading background (though it's a big plus if you do) - but it will be key that you have experience in a fast-paced environment working on latency reduction.
What you'll bring:
- 5 years of C development experience (ideally in a Linux environment)
- Proven background in performance tuning, optimisation, and latency reduction
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and high-performance architecture
