Join us in coloring a safe and sustainable future! Job Description We are seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible to: Run batches of ink at proper mill settings. Package finished product in various containers and apply labels Clean and maintain machine to TPM Standards Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities Weigh-Up Batches: Shift auto and manual steps. Follow process order of addition. Mix Batch: Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely; follow and adhere to all INX Mixer SOP's Hockmeyer mill operation: Run and maintain optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas including processing times Canning Operate the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift To act as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data Complete scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures Help with repacks Qualifications To perform your job as expected, you will be required to: Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired; Have 3 months of work related experience Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills, Have attention to detail Be reliable to work assigned shift Be flexible to work overtime as required Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background. Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
