Summary: Follow SOPs to keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Clean various containers and lids used in production using specified cleaners.
• Clean pallets using a pallet washing machine.
• Clean amenities, equipment and other items in common areas.
• Maintain a clean work space.
• Gather and empty trash and recyclables.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Maintains necessary records.
• Reports to work regularly and on time.
• Perform duties safely and to report unsafe conditions or actions.
• Assists in other duties as needed and directed.

• Skilled in monitoring for quality.
• Demonstrate customer service, active listening, attention to detail, and problem sensitivity.
• Ability to read written instruction and communicate with others while maintaining confidentiality.
  
  

Physicial Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, use hands and arms, and smell. May need to climb or balance.
• Specific sensing abilities required by this job include near vision and manual dexterity.
  
  

Work Environment: characteristic of an FDA regulated manufacturing facility. Personal Protective equipment may be worn in certain situations.

• The employee is regularly exposed to noise, and to airborne particles, including some allergens.
• Completion of duties must be done within an allotted time which may create a sense of time pressure to meet deadlines.
