Involve to Evolve, LLC is a community-based provider of Community Engagement (CE) services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our services are delivered entirely in the community and are designed to support individuals in becoming active, valued, and connected members of their communities through meaningful, structured, and person-centered experiences.
What Are Community Engagement Services?
Community Engagement services focus on supporting individuals to:
- Participate in real-world community activities
- Build natural supports and social connections
- Develop life skills, independence, and confidence
- Explore interests, hobbies, and personal goals
- Increase community safety awareness and self-advocacy
Services are guided by each individual’s person-centered plan, goals, and preferences and are not provided in a traditional facility-based setting.
About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP II or DSP III) at Involve to Evolve, LLC, you will provide hands-on support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities during day and evening community-based activities.
Our program operates with a small staff-to-individual ratio of 1:3, allowing DSPs to:
- Provide meaningful, individualized support
- Maintain strong supervision and safety awareness
- Build authentic relationships with individuals
- Deliver services that are person-centered and outcome-driven
DSP III staff also support mentorship, administrative assistance, and quality assurance efforts, while continuing to provide direct support within the same 1:3 ratio model.
Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Sunday / Saturday
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Candidates must be available to work weekdays and weekends, days and evenings.
Positions & Pay
DSP II
- Starting Pay: $18/hour
- Raises:
- $1/hour after 12 months (based on performance review)
DSP III
- Starting Pay: $19-20/hour
- Raises:
- $1/hour after 12 months (based on performance review)
DSP II – Job Duties
DSP II staff provide direct, hands-on support in community-based settings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support individuals during community engagement activities
- Promote independence, choice, dignity, and self-advocacy
- Assist with daily routines, skill-building, and social interaction
- Provide supervision, prompting, redirection, and encouragement
- Support community safety awareness
- Transport individuals safely using approved vehicles
- Maintain required staff-to-individual ratios
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and progress notes
- Follow all service plans, safety procedures, and program policies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Represent Involve to Evolve professionally in the community
DSP II – Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years DSP experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a great driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks and required screenings
- Full-time availability (weekdays/weekends; days/evenings)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Willingness to learn, grow, and participate in required training
DSP III – Job Duties
DSP III staff function at a senior/lead support level, providing advanced direct care and supporting program operations as needed.
Primary Responsibilities (include all DSP II duties, plus):
- Provide advanced support to individuals with more complex needs
- Serve as a mentor and role model to DSP II staff
- Assist with on-the-job coaching and best-practice modeling
- Support implementation and monitoring of person-centered outcomes
- Monitor engagement, safety, and individual progress
- Identify, document, and report health, behavioral, or safety concerns
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of service documentation
- Assist supervisors with communication, coordination, and problem-solving
- Support coverage needs, transitions, and team collaboration
Administrative Duties (As Needed):
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with attendance tracking, scheduling, and coverage coordination
- Support training coordination and onboarding efforts
- Communicate operational needs or concerns to leadership
- Support quality assurance and compliance activities
- Assist with reports or internal records as directed
- Serve as a liaison between DSP staff and leadership
Administrative duties do not replace direct support responsibilities.
DSP III – Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years DSP experience (lead-level preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership, reliability, and professionalism
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks and required screenings
- Full-time availability (weekdays/weekends; days/evenings)
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to mentor and support staff
- Willingness to grow and take on administrative responsibilities as needed
