We’re seeking a talented, Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our community-based services team in Columbus, OH.
Professional License Requirements
- Active Ohio state licensure as a Physical Therapist (issued by the Ohio OTPTAT Board)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required for new graduates.
- Applicants who obtained licensure under prior standards (bachelor’s or master’s degree) remain eligible if they hold active Ohio PT licensure.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License (travel to family homes and community sites required)
- Prior experience with infants, toddlers, or families is a plus but not required
- Evaluate gross motor development and identify delays that may affect functional mobility
- Provide therapy in natural environments (homes, childcare, community settings) to support early movement, positioning, and motor milestones
- Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) in collaboration with families and other EI team members
- Coach parents/caregivers on strategies to support motor development during daily routines
- Document services in compliance with early intervention and state requirements
- Collaborate with service coordinators, SLPs, OTs, and other providers to ensure coordinated care
