Job Description

Invo Healthcare is looking for dynamic full time Certified Vision Teacher in San Francisco, CA. As an Invo Special Education teacher, you will be supporting the educational outcomes for children, helping them achieve their educational goals. 

To qualify, applicants must:

• Provide specialized instruction for students who are visually impaired.
• Conduct functional vision assessments and learning media assessments.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students.
• Consult with parents, offering resources and support for their child's visual impairment.
• Utilize assistive technology to enhance learning and accessibility.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and activities.
• Perform all other duties related to special education as required
  
  

What to expect from the role?

• Provide specialized instruction for students who are visually impaired.
• Offer individualized assistance for various types of learning disabilities related to visual impairments.
• Consult with parents, providing resources and materials to support their child's needs.
• Build strong relationships with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
