Are you a compassionate and reliable individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others? We’re seeking dedicated Live-In Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care and companionship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications as directed
- Provide transportation to medical appointments, community events, and social outings
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and track progress toward personal goals
- Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in everyday life
- Excellent communication skills and a nurturing demeanor
- Willingness to work flexible hours and reside on-site during scheduled shifts
- Prior experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Must pass background checks and drug screening
- Familiarity with 6400 regulations is advantageous
- Successful completion of motor vehicle records and background check.
