What You'll Do:
- Lead, coach, and mentor financial operations teams to ensure adherence to policies and excellence in customer service.
- Maintain compliance by keeping policies, procedures, and checklists up-to-date and aligned with internal and external requirements.
- Drive performance through KPIs and transparent service-level reporting.
- Identify inefficiencies and redundancies, implement process improvements, and design future workflows.
- Oversee Accounts Payable, including vendor onboarding, risk management, invoice payment, and expense card program management.
- Centralize and enhance the Accounts Receivable function, from invoicing and funds application to variance resolution and balance oversight.
- Lead strategic initiatives across procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles.
- Oversee Treasury Support, including cash monitoring and banking administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
- 12 years of professional experience, including 7 years in senior leadership roles.
- Background in financial services or other white-collar service industries.
- Strong supervisory skills and proven success in managing teams.
- Expertise in designing and optimizing financial workflows and processes.
- Experience supporting growing organizations with scalable accounting/finance functions.
- Desired: Public accounting background, experience in a public reporting entity, insurance industry expertise, or multi-entity/divisional environments.
- Skills: Strong leadership, integrity, decisiveness, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal excellence.
