- Perform residential and/or commercial Texas title searches and examinations.
- Review deeds, mortgages, judgments, tax records, probate filings, and other public records.
- Analyze chains of title and identify title defects, requirements, and exceptions.
- Prepare accurate title commitments, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Research and resolve title issues, curative matters, and underwriting requirements.
- Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding title findings and requirements.
- Maintain production goals while ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality.
- Minimum of 3 years of Texas title search and examination experience REQUIRED.
- Proficiency with TitleData.
- Strong understanding of Texas real estate and title insurance practices.
- Ability to interpret legal descriptions, recorded documents, and title-related records.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Experience with curative processes and underwriting requirements.
- Experience with SoftPro and/or Integrity title plant is preferred.
