Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Information System Security Manager (ISSM) with at least 3 years of experience to work as a ISSM for a classified on-site environment in addition to supporting accreditation packages for deployed systems.
Duties Include:
- Create eMASS authorization packages
- Create, update, and follow policies and procedures for information security
- Perform auditing and continuous monitoring activities in a classified environment
- Prepare accreditation packages including hardware/software baseline, system boundary diagrams, and continuous monitoring plans for deployed systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in STEM degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in cyber security. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in the following
- Information System Security Officer (ISSO) or Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in a classified NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework (RMF) environment
- Experience creating and updating eMASS authorization packages and continuous monitoring results
- Performing auditing and continuous monitoring functions
- Collecting artifacts for security authorizations and reviews
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with some or all of the following:
- Additional years of experience is a plus
- NIST 800-171/ Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance
- NIST 800-53 RMF experience in deployed program environment
Requires ability to:
- Current Secret Clearance
- Excellent record keeping and organizational skills
- Work well in a small, mission-driven environment with co-workers and management
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Work Environment
Office and lab environment.
This position is expected to be performed only in the state of Alabama.
