We are seeking an Aerospace Structural Engineer/Analyst who will provide engineering support for rotary wing aircraft by analyzing flight characteristics, flight controls, and dynamic components. You will support system design activities, vibration testing, and flight testing to verify aircraft performance and handling qualities. The role also ensures that technical findings are accurately documented and aligned with qualification and program requirements. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Analyze rotary wing flight characteristics, control systems, and dynamic components.
• Develop and evaluate environmental vibration qualification requirements, test plans, and reports.
• Review and interpret vibration and flight test data to verify system performance and handling qualities.
• Ensure aircraft capabilities are accurately reflected in Operator’s Manuals for normal and emergency operations.
  
  
  

Required

• BS or BA degree
• 3 years of related experience
• Experience with rotary wing systems, vibration analysis, and flight test data review.
• Demonstrated experience supporting DoW acquisition, engineering programs (military rotary wing of fixed wing platform experience is highly preferred).
• Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance
