Looking for Production Supervisor
Location – South Windsor, CT
JOB Details:
Client is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production floor operations and ensure all client SLAs, SEC requirements, and contractual obligations are met in the most cost-effective manner possible. This person will prioritize client mailings, maximize machine throughput, coordinate labor across departments, and help maintain high quality standards across the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee labor on the production floor to ensure efficient operations
Prioritize jobs and ensure the right work is running on the right machines
Maximize machine throughput and minimize downtime
Coordinate staffing levels based on workflow and production volume
Cross-train associates across production operations
Ensure operators receive proper technical, quality, and ISO training
Communicate shift priorities clearly through verbal and email turnovers
Monitor parts inventory and coordinate with vendors as needed
Work with Operations on preventive maintenance scheduling
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
3–5 years of supervisory experience
3–5 years of print maintenance experience
