We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg for a high-paying 8-week assignment in Pikeville, KY. This role offers 48 hours/week, strong weekly earnings, and a quick start.
Assignment Details
- Location: Pikeville, KY 41501
- Duration: 8 Weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
- Schedule: 48 hours/week
- On-Call: As required
- Holidays: Paid at overtime rate
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $60/hour
- Weekly Pay: $2,880 (including stipend)
- Weekly Taxable: $1,634
- Stipend: $1,246/week
- Overtime: $70/hour (after 40 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including titration
- Monitor cardiac conditions and provide appropriate interventions
- Assist with procedures including chest tube care and cardiac cath prep/recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans

Requirements
- Active RN License (Compact or State License)
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience (5 preferred)
- Prior Travel Experience Required
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- EKG
