Staff Technical Data Analyst

Overview

Intuit is currently seeking a passionate and data-driven individual to join the Intuit Business Operations Analytics team. As a Staff Technical Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming our organization through the power of data. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and sharing insights across company level data sets.

In this position, you will develop a deep understanding of business challenges, performing company-level analyses to enable effective decision-making and problem-solving. This role presents a unique combination of business operations and data analytics, requiring someone who is highly analytical, strategic, an excellent communicator, and comfortable with ambiguity.

We are looking for a strategic problem-solver with a track record of using data to deliver successful business outcomes. The ideal candidate can independently manage their own data, identify and measure business and growth drivers, collect data from various sources to identify opportunities for improvement, and provide insights to a broader audience.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6 years of combined post-graduate academic and industry experience applying quantitative and scientific methods to solve real-world business problems.
• Advanced experience in statistical analysis, test design, and experimentation.
• Proven ability to analyze large, complex datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau, QuickSight), and scripting languages (Python, R).
• Strong data storytelling skills, with the ability to construct impactful visualizations, communicate insights, and influence leadership.
• A proactive and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with ambiguity.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is: Bay Area California $165,500.00-224,000.00This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
