We are a dedicated group of L&D experts passionate about boosting Product Development (PD) productivity and driving Intuit's transformation by fostering crucial technical skills within our engineering community.  We provide a range of learning opportunities (instructor-led classes, e-learnings, workshops, and tech talks) and resources to support the growth and development of Intuit’s tech ecosystem including engineers, product managers, and designers.  This is a highly consultative and collaborative role in which you will collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify customer education needs and develop engaging technical training content that enables learners to effectively understand and use our platform capabilities and grow their careers.  We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Onboarding Program Manager to drive our technical onboarding programs for engineers. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, have experience driving strategy, implementation and delivery of technical courses, can manage all logistics, instructor coordination, scheduling, curriculum development, and overall process effectiveness of the program.  This is a highly consultative and collaborative role in which you will drive/manage/teach and deliver our onboarding program for engineers at Intuit.  You will be the owner, driver of the program, you will be responsible for developing content for the program, the health of the program and keeping the curriculum up to date with the needs of our new engineers.  You will help new engineers build a foundational understanding of the tech ecosystem, which will give them the knowledge to launch their careers at Intuit.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and continuously improve the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of new engineers and aligns with company goals.
  • Oversee the selection and coordination of instructors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all logistics for the technical onboarding programs, including schedules, locations, and resources.
  • Communicate program details and updates to all relevant parties, including participants, instructors, and leadership.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program, implementing changes and enhancements to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment that encourages engagement and knowledge sharing among participants.
  • Assess current training materials and approaches, making recommendations to improve learner experience and increase the speed to proficiency.
  • Facilitate and coach instructor-led workshops, seminars, or training sessions.
  • Prepare and train other leaders to facilitate and coach.
  • Have the ability to partner and/or mange contractors that support the Tech Learning programs.
  • Consult business partners on ad-hoc inquiries from around the company.
  • Foster an environment that generates innovative ideas and encourages smart risk-taking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience in software development, program management, curriculum development, and onboarding programs, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong program management skills including prioritization, planning, attention to detail, and multitasking, preferably in technical or educational environments.
  • Deep knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Passion for learning and development, with a genuine interest in helping engineers succeed in their roles.
  • Capable of understanding and managing different goals, deliverables, timelines, and technologies.
  • Skilled in developing technical curriculum and creating e-learning courses or workshops tailored for engineers.
  • Understanding of AI tools, how to use them to build training, how to incorporate AI into trainings.
  • Ability to create user-friendly content and employ innovative learning methods.
  • Competent in delivering technical training and leading influential discussions across organizational levels.
  • Experienced in evaluating and maintaining learning resources for sustainability.
  • Strategic thinker - able to build 1,3,5 years plans, adapt at issue and risk management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, proficient in building comprehensive instructional materials and in collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Extensive knowledge of eLearning standards, adult learning theories, instructional design models, and deployment methods.
  • Proficient with tools like Google Suite, MS Office, RISE, Articulate360, Camtasia, and Evolve for developing training content.
  • Experience in applying design thinking to understand customer needs and in managing complex group dynamics.
  • Proven ability to drive effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders and to develop methods for evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Advanced facilitation skills, capable of managing discussions among senior leaders and participants.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems is an added advantage.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Southern California,CA $143,500-194,000
