Intrust CPA is looking for a diligent staff accountant to join our team of professionals. A successful member of our staff accounting team should be able to accurately maintain a general ledger, ensure compliance with GAAP, be an exceptional team player, and have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Primary Staff Accountant Responsibilities Include:
· Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
· Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
· Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
· Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
· Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
· Responding to ongoing information requests.
· Accurately maintain a general ledger within QuickBooks and other accounting systems.
· Performing regular financial statement review.
· Ensuring compliance with GAAP or other accepted accounting principals.
· Preparing business and personal income tax returns, including 1040/1065/1120S.
· Assisting the accounting manager as needed.
Staff Accountant Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics strongly preferred.
· 2 years of accounting experience required.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Working knowledge of GAAP.
· Experience with QuickBooks is required.
· Experience with Thompson & Reuters products is preferred.
· Strong analytical skills.
· CPA or CPA track preferred.
· Good problem-solving and time management skills.
· Highly organized and detail-oriented.
· Strong aptitude for technology

Pay: $38,473.00 - $76,355.00 per year
