Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) is responsible for recruiting top talent and supporting the employee lifecycle. This role collaborates closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to align recruitment strategies with business goals, while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s Character Qualities.
Essential Functions: All essential functions are necessary for success in this role and must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for managers, from job posting through offer acceptance, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices, use of Predictive Index (PI), interview techniques, and candidate evaluation, following the Hiring for Character and Competency framework.
- Consult with hiring managers to determine offer amounts using market data, internal equity, and experience; escalate exceptions to HR management as needed.
- Serve as the primary candidate and hiring manager contact throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience that supports the INTRUST employer brand.
- Coordinate and represent INTRUST Bank at job fairs, school presentations, and other recruiting events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiting partners, agencies, and vendors.
- Manages requests for temporary help and independent contractors per company guidelines.
- Assist in coordinating INTRUST’s summer internship program and similar community programs targeting early talent.
- Provide backup support for HR Generalist duties, including front desk coverage, scheduling interviews for downtown hiring managers, and completing the New Hire Checklist (pre-employment screening, HRIS entry, E-Verify/I-9, and new hire documentation).
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations by staying current on changes and applying knowledge to daily responsibilities.
- Contribute to process improvement by recommending and refining HR processes related to recruitment for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Three years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR business partnering preferred. Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and recruiting strategies.
Required Skills and Knowledge: Ability to collaborate effectively with all internal and external customers is required. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products. Excellent oral presentation and writing skills are necessary, as well as applied knowledge of technology and its role in Human Resources. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail. Previous experience with UKG and/or Paylocity a plus.
Required Licenses and/or Certifications: SRHM-CP or PHR certification preferred. Predictive Index (PI) Certification required within approximately 6 months of hire.
Physical Demands: Extended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
