Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and care to individuals in various settings, in their homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, dementia, or autism. Prior experience in healthcare or caregiving is preferred but not required; training will be provided to qualified applicants committed to compassionate care.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient observation and report abnormal findings immediately
- Support medication and adherence reminders, to care plans under supervision
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Safely use personalized equipment such as mobility aids to assist
- Document patient care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory care needs through personalized engagement and safety measures
- Assist with transportation to appointments or community activities when necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with people with disabilities is highly desirable
- Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are required; Current certifications are required upon hire
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and client privacy standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare staff
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with client transfers using equipment if needed
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's/dementia, or other memory impairments is advantageous
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve client well-being
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed

Pay: $13.00 - $19.00 per hour
