Surgery Scheduler β Pain Management Practice
Location: Addison and Frisco, TX

Established and growing private pain management practice with locations in the Addison and Frisco area is seeking a full-time Surgery Scheduler to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced, and supportive environment.

Position Summary
The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling procedures for patients, providers, and surgical facilities. This role requires excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with patients, providers, insurance teams, and outside facilities to ensure procedures are scheduled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule procedures, surgeries, and injections for pain management patients
- Coordinate scheduling between providers, patients, surgery centers, and facilities
- Verify patient information and ensure required documentation is complete
- Work closely with the authorization and insurance verification teams
- Communicate procedure instructions, arrival times, and scheduling details to patients
- Confirm provider availability, facility availability, and procedure requirements
- Maintain and update surgery schedules accurately in the EMR system
- Coordinate pre-procedure requirements, including medical clearances, imaging, labs, or medication instructions when needed
- Communicate with clinical staff and providers regarding scheduling conflicts or patient concerns
- Help maintain an organized and efficient scheduling workflow
- Provide excellent customer service to patients in person, by phone, and through electronic communication
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support the practice
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of surgery scheduling experience preferred
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, anesthesia, surgery center, or specialty practice preferred
- Comfortable working with EMR systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable communicating with patients, providers, insurance companies, and surgical facilities
- Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team environment
