What you’ll do:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Write, process and send quotes for testing services
- Follow up on quotes until they are resolved
- Initiate project coordination with the lab upon receipt of signed proposal
- Request additional documentation as needed (e.g. drawings, PO, installation details, material handling/curing requirements, etc.)
- Works collaboratively with others internally to develop quotes
- Performs other work as required
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years' experience directly related with customer service and/or sales
- Computer proficiency, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe Pro
- Strong customer service and communication skills (written and oral)
- Must be technically competent to understand and communicate test procedures, specifications, and results
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
- Competence in math, science and critical thinking skills, able to identify and question illogical scenarios
- Degree in a technical field
- General knowledge of laboratory testing
- Experience/knowledge of construction and manufacturing industries
- Familiarity with consensus standards (ASTM, ANSI, …)
