The Geotechnical Staff Engineer is responsible for performing a variety of assignments that include independent evaluations using standard techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment to make minor adoptions and modifications to these standards.

What you’ll do:
- Prepare and review Engineering reports, project plans and specifications prepared by others
- Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments
- Prepare proposals to provide professional services
- Review recommendations with Principal Consultant
- Maintain and leverage client relationships and develop new project opportunities
- Attend client site meetings and communicate effectively with client and project teams
- May work in the field / laboratory and perform on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) from an ABET accredited college or university in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering discipline
- Passed F.E. exam or scheduled to take within 6 months
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skills
- The ability to read and understand work plans
- Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
- May travel up to 15% of time
- Master's degree (MS) from an ABET accredited college or university in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering discipline
- PE License is a plus
