Position Description

Title: Manager FP&A - Commercial Support

Department: FP&A

Immediate Supervisor: Director of FP&A - Commercial Support

Position Purpose: As a member of the finance team, the Manager FP&A - Commercial Support will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support commercial decision-making. This individual will work closely with the business to prepare reports to support effective decision-making, analyze financial data, and develop and implement financial models. This is an individual contributor role that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

Principle Accountabilities

• Analyze financial data to prepare accurate and timely P&L statements, identifying key drivers and trends that impact financial performance.
• Provide ongoing financial analysis to support business operations, including variance analysis and forecasting.
• Develop and implement financial models to support business operations, including pricing strategies, investment decisions, and resource allocation.
• Work closely with the business to provide financial insights that support commercial decision-making and reporting
• Partner with key business stakeholders to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, identifying key drivers and trends that impact financial performance.
• Support forecasting processes for effective decision-making and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiencies in financial reporting.
• Related tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 5-7 years of finance experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop insights that support decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and learn and apply quickly.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI or similar.
• Comfortable creating and/or delivering presentations to key stakeholders including executives and Board of Directors
• Experience working in a commercial or business-facing finance function is highly desirable.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and a dynamic environment.
