Executive Assistant to VP of People & Culture
Locations: Sioux Falls, SD | Sioux Center, IA | Omaha, NE | Sioux City, IA
Join us as the Executive Assistant to our VP of People & Culture—a high-impact role that goes beyond traditional administrative support. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys bringing structure, visibility, and momentum to complex work.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to the VP of People & Culture, driving day-to-day operations while coordinating multiple initiatives that impact teams across the organization. You’ll help keep priorities aligned, projects moving forward, and details from slipping through the cracks.
The ideal candidate is confident, highly organized, and comfortable navigating ambiguity—someone who can independently manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication and alignment across teams.
What You’ll Do
Project & Operations Support
- Track and coordinate multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and next steps stay on track
- Maintain visibility across active initiatives and provide clear updates on status, risks, and priorities
- Organize and facilitate meetings by setting agendas, capturing action items, and ensuring follow-through
- Proactively follow up with stakeholders to keep work progressing
- Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and tracking tools
- Build systems (trackers, dashboards, workflows) that improve organization and execution
- Independently coordinate smaller initiatives from start to finish
Executive Administrative Support
- Manage and prioritize the VP of People & Culture’s calendar, protecting focus time and aligning meetings to priorities
- Coordinate 1:1 meetings and leadership schedules
- Support team engagement and recognition efforts (birthdays, anniversaries, milestones)
- Coordinate meeting logistics
- Assist with expense approvals and administrative workflows
- Support communication and coordination across internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in executive support, administrative, project coordination, or similar roles
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive work forward with minimal direction
- Comfortable collaborating across teams and holding stakeholders accountable
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, OneNote)
- Project tracking tools such as Microsoft Planner or SharePoint
- Ability to build trackers, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Familiarity with Power BI preferred
