Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HR Manager to provide full-time HR support. This role is ideal for someone experienced in HR operations, benefits administration, payroll processing, and compliance — with a passion for leveraging systems like ADP to improve HR efficiency and employee experience.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports and focuses heavily on process execution, compliance, and support.  This position reports to the CFO and is a member of the Extended Leadership Team of ONE Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration

·        Manage employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, COBRA, FMLA, STD, LTD.

·        Maintain benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations via ADP.

·        Oversee 401(k) administration: enrollments, contribution changes, terminations, annual audit support, nondiscrimination testing, and Form 5500 preparation.

·        Ensure timely payroll deductions and updates for benefit changes.

·        Educate employees on underutilized benefits including ADP perks.

Payroll & Tax Compliance

·        Manage payroll processing for all W-2 employees and ensure accuracy and timeliness in payroll payments.

·        Maintain state tax jurisdictions for multi-state payroll compliance.

·        Make necessary payroll-related changes in ADP (e.g., salary updates).

·        Ensure ADP handles payroll tax filings; monitor for compliance.

ADP and HR Systems Administration

·        Maintain and update employee data in ADP including job titles, hierarchy, compensation, contact details, PTO accruals and balances, supervisor/reporting relationships, EEO information.

·        Explore and implement additional ADP features (e.g., performance reviews).

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding

·        Manage employee onboarding process including management approval, job posting, and onboarding information in ADP.

·        Manage employee documentation: I-9, W-4, direct deposit, offer letters, NDAs.

·        Handle offboarding tasks: final paycheck coordination, return of equipment, termination paperwork.

Compliance and Reporting

·        Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.

·        Maintain proper labor law postings and prepare for EEO-1 reporting.

·        Track and audit employee files and forms for completeness and accuracy.

Employee Support & Engagement

·        Serve as a go-to resource for employee questions and HR-related inquiries.

·        Support initiatives around employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

·        Conduct exit interviews and maintain turnover data for retention analysis.

HR Project and Vendor Support

·        Liaise with ADP and other vendors for troubleshooting and optimization.

·        Support HR efforts in compensation standardization and salary reviews.

·        Participate in performance management and job description alignment.

Qualifications:

·        5 years of HR experience in a generalist or coordinator capacity.

·        Proficient with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms.

·        Strong working knowledge of multi-state employment and payroll compliance.

·        Strong organizational and administrative skills.

·        High attention to detail and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
