JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title: Heavy Duty Truck Assembler Technician
Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin Company: Interstate Assembly Systems We
are currently seeking a skilled and experienced technician/mechanic to
join our team as a Heavy-Duty Truck Assembler Technician. In this role,
you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair,
and servicing of IMT, Fassi, Palfinger, Prentice, PM cranes and service
trucks used in various industries. Your expertise in diagnosing and
repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems will be
essential in ensuring the reliability and functionality to our fleet
customers and internal pool of service trucks. Additionally, you will be
tasked with conducting routine inspections, performing preventive
maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and
maximize productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong
mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering
top-notch service. Mechanic Job Duties: Responsible for troubleshooting,
maintenance, and repair on all types of truck bodies and associated
components. No engine work- work is focused on chassis mounted
components. Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all heavy-duty
components. Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts
department, and customers Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon
completion. Meet requirements for certifications. Administrative duties
as related to position. Desired Skills and Qualities: Self-starter
ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to follow work orders.
Ability to determine needed repairs for cranes and trucks. Ability to
disassemble cranes and keep track of parts for reassembly. Ability to
rebuild hydraulic cylinders. Ability to rebuild PTO. Ability to run and
test cranes. General knowledge of hydraulics Knowledge of relays
Electrical Knowledge Preferred. Welding Preferred. Experience/Education
Prior experience in automotive or heavy equipment assembly, mechanics,
or a related field (1-3 years preferred). High School Diploma or
Equivalent Required. Working Knowledge Of Microsoft Office. Experience
working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Lean Methodologies
Preferred. Experienced With All Material Handling Equipment Such As
forklifts & Reach lifts. Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking skills. Ability to lift 25-50lbs routinely.
