Senior Pricing Analyst

Job Details -

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Lead pricing analysis for multiple trailer product lines

• Interpret steel, component, and supply-chain trends to anticipate cost shifts

• Build advanced pricing models and margin dashboards

• Partner with leadership to refine pricing strategy and discount structures

• Provide guidance to sales teams on quotes, bids, and profitability impacts

• Identify gaps in SKU performance and recommend corrective actions

• Develop and maintain pricing models to optimize revenue and profitability

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of pricing structures, competitive pricing, and performance benchmarks

• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost drivers

• Excellent data interpretation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across departments

• Ability to conduct and accurately report market research

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and take ownership of strategic initiatives

• Perform cost analysis, margin analysis, and create pricing frameworks

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools

 Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds (e.g., files, packages, or office supplies)

• Repetitive hand and wrist movements for typing and data entry

• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video calls, and in-person meetings

• Occasional walking, standing, or bending to retrieve or file documents

Pay Rate:  $78-$90,000  plus bonus

JOB SUMMARY:  

The Senior Pricing Analyst (On-site position in Nampa, Idaho) will take a lead role in shaping our pricing and inventory strategy.  The position is highly analytical, and will independently develop pricing framework, conduct in-depth cost and market analysis, and help to influence cross-departmental decision-making.  While this is not a people-management position, it carries elevated responsibility, visibility, and strategic influence, playing a key role in ensuring our pricing aligns with market conditions, competition, inventory objectives, and overall company goals.
