Position: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
Interstate Power Systems is hiring a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic in Bismarck, ND. Join a growing team supporting Freightliner, Western Star, and Detroit Diesel trucks for fleets and owner-operators across the region.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and related systems
- Use diagnostic software (Cummins Insite, DDDL, OEM tools)
- Complete service documentation and ensure DOT compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of diesel mechanic experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Experience with Freightliner and Detroit Diesel preferred
- ASE or manufacturer certifications a plus
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
- Ability to lift to 75 lbs.
