The HR Generalist will perform day-to-day human resources operations duties including payroll, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. This position provides an excellent opportunity to support the organization's overall people operations goals and objectives.
Job Duties
· Payroll administration including verifying and submitting timekeeping information, prepare and submit payroll tax documents, maintain accurate records of employee compensation and deductions, ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, respond to any payroll issues, utilize payroll software to process payroll and maintain employee records, troubleshoot any technical issues.
· Support full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and new hire paperwork.
· Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.
· Assist with employee relations, investigations, and documentation.
· Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and communication.
· Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
· Assist with employee recognition and appreciation program.
· Assist with planning quarterly and annual company events.
· Support HR initiatives and special projects as needed.
· Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· 3 or more years of human resources experience.
· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
· Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

Summary
As part of its employment process, Interstate Business Solutions may procure or have prepared a criminal background check.
