Job Title: Proposal / Project Manager
Location: Syosset, NY
Hours: 08:00 am - 05:00 pm (100% on-site)
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
- Contribute and manage the proposal efforts by writing clear, persuasive, and compliant sections to respond to proposal volumes with information regarding capabilities, management / staffing plan, past performance, and quality assurance plan.
- Analyze the RFP requirements; develop RFP checklist, compliance matrix, proposal outlines / templates and skill matrix.
- Manage submittal process from inception to completion, interface with the technical team including Technical Writers, Recruiters, Project Managers etc. throughout the proposal process.
- Work with Project Managers for registrations and business management
- Support priority bid opportunities for new business pursuits.
- Manage the full project management cycle for professional services - including using the ATS, CRM systems extensively to post positions, review applications, and maintain different business stages.
- Ensure compliance with all Local, State and Federal laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs for team members.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to understand the key skills, relevant experience, and objective to draft job requirements subsequently posting them on social media and job portals.
- Possess a clear understanding of staffing processes and support the accounting department with payroll and invoicing functions.
- Work with the Program Manager for registrations and operations management. Prepare agreements as required. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols. Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity.
- Assist with implementation and administration of policies and programs related to the management of all personnel to ensure the maintenance of a positive and productive employment environment.
- Work extensively on company systems to manage projects
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualification:
- 5 years of experience in managing proposals for US Clients. Experience in handling US Government/Agencies contracts will be preferred.
- 3 years of experience in project management of professional services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and strong computer skills are required.
- Good understanding of technology and associated technical skill sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proactive and able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, negotiation skills, understanding of local, state and federal regulations, and ethics.
- Knowledge and experience in working with G-Suite.
- Experience using ATS (JobDiva) preferred.
- Must be a TEAM PLAYER.
