Job Title: Cobol Programmer – Advanced (Job ID: 10984)
Work Location: Columbia, South Carolina (100% Remote)
Duration: 9 Months (Possible Extension)

Work Authorization: Candidate must reside in the Continental US and be comfortable working EST hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Medicaid Services MMIS and MEDS teams for application enhancements and maintenance
- Perform coding changes in COBOL and ADS programs using IDMS Network and Relational Databases
- Work with technical design specifications and business requirements
- Debug, unit test, and integration test application changes
- Support QA, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and External Testing activities
- Work closely with development teams, operational staff, QA teams, and customers
- Document application inputs, outputs, and code changes for knowledge transfer
- Participate in rotational on-call production support activities
- Communicate effectively with Clemson staff and contracted teams
