We are a growing interior signage manufacturer seeking an exceptional Digital Print Manager to lead, elevate, and future-proof our digital print operations. This role is for a high-character professional with deep technical expertise, strong leadership ability, and the vision to build something better than what exists today.

We are looking for someone who knows the industry, understands color and prepress at an expert level, and can teach us what we don’t yet know—from equipment and materials to processes and best practices. Position Summary

The Digital Print Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of digital print production for interior signage, including prepress, color management, workflow optimization, equipment strategy, materials selection, and team leadership. This role bridges technical expertise and operational leadership, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and scalability.

This position is ideal for someone who can translate company growth goals into a clear, executable digital print vision—and then build the systems, standards, and team to support it.

Core Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

•             Lead, mentor, and develop the digital print team with clear expectations and accountability

•             Set performance standards and drive continuous improvement in quality, throughput, and consistency

•             Foster a culture of professionalism, ownership, and pride in craftsmanship

•             Lead by example through work ethic, integrity, and problem-solving

Digital Print Operations

•             Oversee all digital print production related to interior signage

•             Ensure efficient scheduling, resource utilization, and workflow execution

•             Identify and remove bottlenecks to improve speed, accuracy, and repeatability

•             Maintain production readiness while supporting growth and increased demand

Prepress & Technical Expertise

•             Own and standardize prepress workflows, file preparation, and RIP management

•             Ensure files are production-ready with minimal rework or downstream errors

•             Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to resolve technical challenges

Color Management & Quality

•             Develop, implement, and maintain a robust color management system across substrates and processes

•             Ensure color accuracy and consistency aligned with brand standards and customer expectations

•             Establish quality control checkpoints and corrective action processes

•             Educate internal teams on color limitations, best practices, and expectations

Industry Knowledge & Strategic Guidance

•             Serve as the internal subject-matter expert for digital print within the interior signage industry

•             Make informed recommendations on:

◦        Equipment purchases and upgrades

◦        Materials and substrates

◦        Software, RIPs, and workflow tools

◦        Process improvements and automation opportunities

•             Proactively identify gaps in current capabilities and propose solutions

Vision & Growth

•             Build a scalable Digital Print vision aligned with the company’s overall growth strategy

•             Anticipate future needs and prepare the department for increased complexity and volume

Required Qualifications

•             Proven management and leadership experience with measurable career progression

•             Deep expertise in digital print production, prepress, and color management

•             Strong technical understanding of equipment, substrates, inks, and workflows used in interior signage

•             Demonstrated ability to improve processes, quality, and operational efficiency

•             Strong communication skills with the ability to teach, influence, and lead

•             Physically capable of working in a manufacturing environment
