PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:
This position supports production objectives by performing material handling needs to support a production line or shipping and receiving. Operates hand tools, heavy machinery including forklifts, and at times computers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be forklift certified.
- Ability to obtain stock chaser and crane certification.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, geometric tolerances and weld symbols/diagrams, alerts/warnings and correspondence, including work orders, Kanban cards, etc.
- Possess basic production mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Possess the ability to read and interpret a variety of machine gauges, monitors, and electronic instrument panels required in the set-up and production of products.
- Ability to perform basic visual quality inspections on product.
- Possess teamwork and strong interpersonal skills. Possess the ability to communicate effectively with all Interroll employees in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
- Possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written, or diagram form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: :
This position requires constant standing, use of hands and fingers and eye-hand coordination. This position requires frequent reaching with hands and arms, and occasional sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and turning or bending at waist. Incumbent must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Good close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well depth perception and the ability to see colors and adjust focus are required.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. This position works indoors in a manufacturing (warehouse) environment. Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold. This position is occasionally exposed oil, grease or dirt, and to the risk of electrical shock. A loud noise level is typical for the work environment of this job. Wearing the proper PPE (protective eyewear, ear plugs and steal toed shoes) is a requirement in most areas of this facility.
