Position: SAP Manufacturing Analyst (PP/MM)
Reports to: Operation Manager
Flsa status: Exempt
Primary purpose of job and contribution to organization:
An SAP Manufacturing Analyst is responsible for maintaining and improving the accuracy of manufacturing master data within SAP to ensure production processes run effectively. This role works directly with production, engineering, and planning to align SAP data such as material masters, routings, BOMs, and production versions with real manufacturing operations. The position focuses on supporting production execution, improving system reliability, and eliminating inefficiencies caused by incorrect or incomplete master data.
Essential tasks and responsibilities:

Material master creation and maintenance:
Create and maintain material masters for in-house produced products, including MRP views, work scheduling views, and planning parameters. Ensure production versions are created and validated prior to release.
Routing validation and cycle time alignment:
Review and maintain production routings, ensuring cycle times reflect actual production performance. Work directly with supervisors and operators to validate accuracy.
BOM governance:
Maintain and validate multi-level BOM structures, ensuring component accuracy and proper reflection of engineering changes.
Production support:
Troubleshoot production order issues including backflush errors and MRP-related discrepancies. Identify and resolve master data-related causes of production inefficiencies.
Shop floor collaboration:
Work with production teams to validate system data against real processes and drive standardization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· 3 years of hands-on SAP PP experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Experience creating or maintaining routings, BOMs, material masters, and production versions.
· Experience supporting production orders and MRP planning.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
· Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify master data issues impacting production.
· Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Relevant Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in technical related field such as industrial, manufacturing, supply chain, or equivalent experience in SAP manufacturing systems.

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, use hands, and reach. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally up to fifty pounds.
