Inventory Clerk II
PAY RANGE:
$19.00 - $24.00
HOURS:
Day shift - 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday- Friday. Friday hours may vary depending on operational needs. Hours worked over 40 are paid at time and a half

EMPLOYMENT:
We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to fill an opening in Pittsfield, MA. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels within our company. You will play a vital role in ensuring that inventory is properly tracked, organized, and available when needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To encompass the following but not limited to:
- Maintain accurate and up to date inventory records, including item descriptions, quantities, locations, and other relevant data using inventory management software or manual systems.
- Receive incoming work orders and enter them into the system. Close work orders upon completion by Maintenance staff.
- Receive incoming shipments and compare them against purchase orders or delivery notes. Inspect items for damage, verify quantities, and update inventory records accordingly.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory audits to verify stock levels and reconcile any discrepancies with recorded data.
- Regularly monitor inventory levels and stock movements to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Perform regular inventory reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies between physical stock counts and recorded quantities.
- Analyze inventory data, trends, and patterns to identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, or process improvement.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance overall inventory management efficiency.
- Collaborate with purchasing departments to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of inventory items.
- Generate regular inventory reports and provide insights on inventory performance, trends, and key metrics to management or relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices related to inventory management.
- Organize and maintain inventory cage and shop storage areas.
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Reliable and punctual; consistently arrives on time and ready to work
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Communicates clearly and professionally with team members
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Experience managing parts inventory or similar function
- Ability to research and source new or used parts
- Ability to identify parts and components preferred
