To help support that mission, we’re seeking an experienced and driven Regulatory Certification Engineer to join our team onsite at our WHQ in Lisle, IL.
In this role, you’ll serve as the regulatory and certification partner on cross‑functional teams bringing new technologies to market. You’ll help identify applicable regulations, support validation planning, review compliance documentation, and ensure requirements are met accurately and efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and program teams to resolve issues early, clarify ambiguous requirements, and keep certification efforts on track.

The qualified candidate will have a solid technical foundation with either a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science and at least five years of relevant experience; a master’s degree with three or more years of experience; or a PhD in one of these fields.
You’ll also have the opportunity to act as a subject matter expert in specific regulatory areas, support audits, mentor team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires a strong engineering background, experience in product development, knowledge of North American commercial vehicle regulations, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
